CEF Award Winner 2022 Restoration Project of the Year

This award winning project involved the refurbishment of the former listed primary school and two adjacent pavilions. The project included the restoration and reconstruction of existing roof and superstructure and fenestration, provision of new glazed courtyard pyramidal roof, concrete retaining walls & lift shaft and internal alterations.

External works to comprise new roadway, parking, paths and landscaping.

The works mainly consisted of the reinstatement of existing roof trusses, replacement windows, refurbishment of brickwork and cast stone, roof works, dry-linings, new insulated EPDM flat roofs, floor screeds, M&E installations comprising power, heating, lighting, ventilation, fire / intruder alarm, access control, BMS, etc.

We worked with Hall Black Douglas Architects & Falls Community Council on this project.
